Nyhavn is a popular area in Copenhagen with both the locals and tourists. Starting from an old anchor at Kongens Nytorv, the street is lined with many small bars and restaurants facing out towards a picturesque harbor.

The Little Mermaid

Kronborg Castle

Kronborg Castle, a World Heritage Site, is the setting of Shakespeare's tragedy Hamlet. Built in 1585, the castle contains the famous statue of Holger Danske. Legend has it that when Denmark is threatened, it will turn to flesh to defend the kingdom.
