The Kagame Inter-Club Cup (aka Kagame Inter-Club Cup, Central and East African Club Championship or CECAFA Club Championship ) is an annual regional club competition held between East and Central African clubs. The tournament was renamed to the Kagame Inter-Club Cup in 2002.
The tournament consists of 10-15 teams pooled into 2-3 groups with 1 of the nations serving as host for each tournament. The nation of the defending champion is allowed to enter 2 teams the following year. The host is able to enter additional teams as well.
