The Baltic Cup is an annual friendly football competition contested between the 3 national teams of the former USSR Baltic nations of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The nations share a common culture, history and size, so the tournament gives them the opportunity for 'Baltic Bragging Rights'. The long-running tournament began in 1928 and during Soviet occupation nearby Belarus also participated in some of the competitions.
