The Copa Centroamericana (aka CCA) or the Central American Cup (formerly the UNCAF Nations Cup or Copa de Naciones UNCAF in Spanish) is a regional football tournament held biennially for Central American nations, organized by the Union Centroamericana de FĂștbol (UNCAF).
The tournament has been held since 1991 and doubles as a Central American qualifying event for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The top 5 nations of the Copa Centroamericana qualify for the Gold Cup later in the year.
The special 2014 edition was the 25th anniversary and was hosted neutrally in the USA.
