The SAFF Cup (aka South Asian Football Federation Cup or South Asian Football Federation Gold Cup) is a regional football tournament held biennially for South Asian/Indian Peninsula nations, organized by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF).
The tournament begun in 1993 and was called the South Asian Association of Regional Co-operation Gold Cup, in 1995 simply South Asian Gold Cup 95 and since 1997 onwards it is known as the South Asian Football Federation Cup.
